Wirral Gaymes Night is a LGBTQ-led event and collaboration between Bulwark Games and Board Gaymes Liverpool that is all about providing a safe, social space to bring the queer community together over wonderful board games and RPGs - what could be better??
Our extensive board game library will be available for all attendees to use at their leisure, and Bulwark Games staff and coordinators will be on hand to ensure everybody is safe, supported, and to help break the ice. We have teas and coffees with both dairy and oat milk, a fridge full of cold drinks, delicious cake!
'YOU are the Knights of the once-immortal courts of the fey. The Sundering Wars have taken a steep toll on your great land - and with the King and Queen dead at one another’s hand, the vassal states beneath them have descended into bitter civil strife.
The Far Forest burns. Your realm has never known true darkness, but now even your light dims. At night, the moon shines sickly and the stars wink out one by one; each ever-briefer day, the sun strains red through drifting clouds of ash.
As an agent for the remnants of your court, you have done things you regret. Your pride - your very sense of self, your force of being - has been reduced to dust. Your magics sputter and spark.
But here - amidst the grim cacophony of war, in shadowed dell and foreign palace, with sword and song and secret - you find something. Someone. The very same ignoble knights you are spellsworn to defeat are the only ones who can comprehend the burden you bear. Each vicious blow you strike draws you closer to one another.
And perhaps, though your betters forbid it, your love could be what draws the kingdom sunward once more.'
