In the kit, we’ve set it up so the Irish have more ranged weapons and a very powerful Danish axe. The Vikings have the numerical advantage, but since they’re the ones who have to steal the cattle, the task isn't easy; they’ll be taking fire, and that Danish axe can be deadly. The scenarios are designed to balance out that numerical disparity. Plus, this is just an introductory set for learning the ropes. If you want to get into the strategy side of things, you’ll need to buy the rulebook and build your own warband.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVeteran players haven't been forgotten, either! Soon after the release of this new starter set, a compendium featuring 19 new scenarios will be available for free download. Fight a bear to steal honey, brawl with an opponent after a banquet turns chaotic, or haul your longship through the woods to reach a different river while under fire from enemy troops. These diverse narrative scenarios will let you explore many facets of the game, all with a focus on fun and storytelling! We will continue to add new scenarios to the compendium over time and release regular updates.
